TYPES OF BANS IN RUST

Game ban — An EAC-issued Rust ban prevents the affected account from joining EAC-secured Rust servers and is displayed as a game ban on its Steam profile.

Hardware / HWID ban — A restriction associated with a device. Hardware enforcement details are not exposed by this public profile finder, so it cannot confirm or rule out a hardware ban.

Steam Community restriction — Restrictions on Steam Community features are separate from a Rust game ban. Review the account’s Steam Support notices for its specific restrictions.

Community server ban — A ban set by a server owner or its moderation system. It can apply independently of the public Steam ban notices.

RUST BAN CHECK FAQ

How do I check whether a Rust account is banned?

Enter a SteamID64 or Steam Community profile URL in the finder above, then open the official Steam profile and review its public ban notices. NFARUST does not automatically query Steam or return a verified ban verdict.

Where do I find my SteamID64?

A numeric Steam profile URL contains a 17-digit SteamID64 after /profiles/. If your profile uses a custom /id/ address, you can paste that full Steam Community URL into this finder instead.

Can a Rust game ban be removed?

Facepunch says EAC bans remain in place unless overturned through the appropriate review process. If you believe a ban was issued incorrectly, follow the official EAC appeal route linked by Facepunch. NFARUST cannot remove bans or guarantee an appeal result.

What is the difference between a game ban and a VAC ban?

Game bans and Valve Anti-Cheat bans are separate systems. Facepunch says an EAC ban for Rust appears as a game ban on Steam. A public ban notice alone does not provide every detail of the enforcement decision.

Can this tool check HWID or community server bans?

No. The finder opens a public Steam profile. It does not inspect hardware, access private anti-cheat records, or query individual server ban lists. Contact the relevant game support team or server administrator about those restrictions.
